Free School Meal Vouchers
Information from Essex County Council (18th September 2023)
Schools will issue vouchers in December 2023 which will be for a total of £60 per eligible pupil, and this will be the last and only voucher schools will issue to families under the current Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) Household Support Fund grant of 2022 to 2023.
We are yet to hear whether there will be any further funding after this for 2023 to 2024, but, of course, we will share details on this when we have knowledge on this.
